Blanton's Hang Tags
Several hang tag styles have been used on Blanton's bottles. In addition, several unique hang tags have appeared on some of the rare special release editions. Also of interest is that several varieties including Straight From the Barrel and Takara Black do not receive hang tags.
1984-1990
From the first bottling in 1984 through sometime around 1990, hang tags had the phrase "Why this may be the finest bottle of whiskey ever produced" and included an informational booklet inside.

1990-1992
Hang tag changed to "The Original Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey"​. The Information inside booklet did not change.

1992-20??
Updated tag included horse logo and the phrase "The Finest Bourbon in the World Comes from a Single Barrel" in all capital letters. Inside text updated. Originally this tag was used for several bottles but is now used only with Japanese "Takara Red" edition.

This is the hang-tag currently used for Blanton's Single Barrel bottles.
Gold Edition Hang Tag
Unique hang-tag used on Gold Edition bottles. Note no "S" in Blanton's.
