Collector Details

The 2021 La Maison du Whisky festival selection was featured in the 2022 catalog, “À la Conquête des Origines”. The catalog explored the company’s origins and traditions. The Paris, France, and Singapore Conquête releases represented locations associated with LMDW’s stores. The bottles were dumped on August 26, 2021.

The individual Conquête names are absent from the boxes and labels; small maps distinguish the versions. The 56% and 65% strengths refer to anniversaries of LMDW’s first store and importing business.

According to LMDW, about 72% of the bottles produced were damaged during shipment to the company. The book records that some bottles damaged during transportation were salvaged and re-waxed by Buffalo Trace.

A new book from the creator of WarehouseH.com

The story of Blanton’s Bourbon has never been fully told…until now.

“Warehouse H unveils the history and secrets of Blanton’s—the most polarizing bourbon brand—in a remarkable story of perseverance, the power of marketing, and the allure of novelty, along with an entertaining take on what many consider to be irrational exuberance. Guglielmi brings a fresh perspective from a position of true admiration, making the case for why Blanton’s is America’s most influential whiskey.”
