La Maison du Whisky

La Maison du Whisky’s relationship with Blanton’s began in 1995, when the French spirits specialist started importing the bourbon for its Paris stores. Thierry Bénitah had discovered Blanton’s while completing his MBA in the United States and encouraged his father’s company to bring it to France. That enthusiasm developed into a collaboration with Age International and Buffalo Trace on exclusive bottlings.

The turning point came in 2006, when the companies worked together on a limited edition celebrating La Maison du Whisky’s 50th anniversary. It began a series of specially labeled annual releases, introduced alongside LMDW’s themed catalogs and Whisky Live events. Release names, label designs, barrel selections, and strengths give each edition its own identity.

From late 2019, annual releases also reached LMDW’s Singapore store, extending the story beyond France. The archive brings together those editions and their individual barrel details.
