Bottled in July 2025 and announced in February 2026, this Special Release initially appeared as an exclusive for one liquor store in Sint Maarten. Shortly thereafter, it was released at a liquor store in Athens, Greece. It continues the international Special Release family that followed the earlier named M&P editions.
This is the second release to use the Honey Barrel name, following the 2021 Honey Barrel release. Despite its name, it is not finished with honey. The name is a nod to the tradition of selecting the best-tasting barrels from the warehouse, often called “sugar” or “honey” barrels.
