Collector Details

Takara’s My Only Blanton’s Co-Owner program was offered in Japan in 2006–2007. Four barrels were allocated to the shared-ownership program, with 20 owners per barrel and six bottles for each owner. A white paper label distinguishes the Co-Owner presentation from the Individual bottle.

This was a barrel-proof bottling. Each co-owner paid 126,000 yen, equivalent to over $900 in 2023 US dollars.

Additional information from Takara Japan documents the program.

The story of Blanton’s Bourbon has never been fully told…until now.

“Warehouse H unveils the history and secrets of Blanton’s—the most polarizing bourbon brand—in a remarkable story of perseverance, the power of marketing, and the allure of novelty, along with an entertaining take on what many consider to be irrational exuberance. Guglielmi brings a fresh perspective from a position of true admiration, making the case for why Blanton’s is America’s most influential whiskey.”
