Collector Details
The 92-proof bottling appeared alongside the standard expression in the early 1990s. Its purpose remains unexplained: even Buffalo Trace had no information establishing why it was made. Examples surfaced in Japan across three different production years, showing that the variation was more than an isolated bottling error.
The printed 46% alcohol content distinguishes this bottling from the standard 93-proof expression. A matching 50 ml miniature is also documented.
