This unusual 1995 bottling sits outside the better-known Takara Black and Special Reserve lines. Bottles identified with Spanish tax stamps show that the release reached Spain, but the reason for producing this particular lower-proof variation remains undocumented.
The neck label omits the Special Reserve name. The label’s 46.5% is crossed out and replaced by a 40% stamp. Only one dump date is known for this bottle, making it a truly unusual and apparently one-off release.
