Takara Gold is the Japanese-market counterpart within the Gold Edition family, whose history began with the 1992 launch in Japan. It reflects the preference for longer aging found in the Japanese Blanton’s range, while sharing the international Gold expression’s bottling strength.
The dark red wax helps distinguish this presentation from standard Gold Edition. It is aged approximately eight years, about two years longer than standard Gold. Other identifying details include Japanese characters behind the neck label, a red velvet bag, and a shiny gold-colored box.
